(HBOT 44) Very Very Hyper

I have been having problems with the internet at home. I start writing the blog each day and by the time I am ready to post, I lose internet access. So even though I have been posting a day later, I actually wrote the blog the day of the posting. I hope this gets resolved soon. It is annoying.

Today has been an intense day. Jonathan's language has gotten so much better, but with that comes side effects. Today he has been very defiant and very hyper. It has to be the oxygen. Only because it is very dramatic.

He got very upset with me this morning because he wanted to play with Playstation and I said no. I told him after the HBOT. Well, he started crying (total meltdown) and we went to the car crying. Then he told me "I don't want to go to the HBOT with you mommy, I want Daddy. I don't like you anymore". And I said "well, you are stuck with me buddy, so you have no choice". He kept crying. I asked him "papi, what can I do to make you feel better". And he said "I am very sad mommy and there is nothing you can do to make me feel better. Not now." I stopped at Starbucks to get a cup of coffee and I got him a black bottom cupcake. When we were there, the lady that already knows him asked him what he wanted and he said "I don't want to eat Marble loaf today. I am not hungry. I don't want anything to eat". And he looked really mad. I still got him something and she smiled at me as if she understood what I was going through. I looked at Jonathan and said "I am sorry that you are so mad papi. Can I give you a hug? If I say I am sorry will you feel better?" and he said "mommy, if you say yes to playstation I will feel better" and I told him that yes, he could play when we got back. Then he looked at me and hugged me. In the car I asked him if he wanted his cupcake and he said yes. He said "I feel better now. Thank you".

Gosh, that was the beginning. At the chamber, he was very bored. Barney again, so we talked, played, told stories. Chatted non-stop. When we got home, I let him play for a bit while we changed and we left again. We went to eat his favorite food (Persian chicken and rise) and then we went to visit a couple of friends that recently had a beautiful baby. He was very excited to explore, not too excited to meet the baby, but engaged with Vanessa and everyone else.

When we got home, Abuita came and took him to the movies. He was very hyper. He was very hyper during the day, but got intensively worse. At night time, he tripped all the time, feel down for no reason and was moving all the time. Bouncing up and down. He could not stand still for 2 seconds.

But his receptive language is amazing. He came to the bathroom asking for his music CD and I told him to go to the car and look for it, and he did. In the evening, he said he was hungry. When I asked him what he wanted to eat, he told me he didn't know. Then he went to the freezer and got a frozen waffle out, and put it in the toaster. When I realized he had done that, I told him that I would take it out because it was very hot and he could get burned. When it was done, he yelled out that it was done and to go get it for him.

His expressive language has better tone. Less "robotic". The pronouns are more appropriate. The verbs are conjugated, which is strange because he never conjugated them properly.
